Reds find ways for fans to keep cool during the hot homestand

Since the temperatures will be in the 90s for most of the 10-game homestead from July 22 through July 31, at Great American Ball Park, the Reds have ways for people to stay cool.

The ballpark will be providing courtesy cups of ice at all concession stands. Fans will also be allowed to bring opened bottles of water into the ball park, unopened bottle are always permitted.

Three air-conditioned "cool rooms" are in operation with televisions so fans can watch the game. Reds staff members will bring fans to these areas if needed. Cool water vapor misting stations are setup near sections 106, 130, 517 and under the PNC Power Stacks in center field.

Sun screen lotion will be available for free at the TriHealth first aid stations.

The Reds organization reminds fan that they should keep hydrated and drink plenty of fluids before and during the game.

If fans feel weak or sick before or during the game, let a Reds staff member know and a medical aid will be summoned.
