CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - Clermont County officials are trying to determine why tornado sirens went off late Sunday afternoon.
The National Weather Service has not issued any tornado warnings for Clermont County or any county in the Tri-State area as of 5:30 pm Sunday.
Officials have not determined what caused the sirens to go off. There are unconfirmed reports that a lightning strike may be to blame.
This is the second time that Clermont County sirens have gone off without a tornado warning being issued this week. On Wednesday, a weather-related malfunction caused the tornado sirens to go off.
