AAA: Ohio gas rises 5 cents to average $3.65

Ohio gas prices are up a nickel from last week and are close to $1 higher than a year ago.

Analysts expect no big swings in the cost of gasoline over the next few months, barring a hurricane that threatens Gulf Coast refinery operations or major economic news that affects the price of oil.

Monday's survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express puts Ohio's average price for regular-grade gasoline at $3.65 a gallon, up from $3.60 a week ago. Last year at this time regular was averaging $2.75 at the state's gas pumps.
