Tea Party supporters will be at John Boehner's West Chester office at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 25 to encourage the Speaker to stand strong on the debt ceiling negotiations.
The position of area tea party groups has been that the debt ceiling should not be raised, but if raised – only with the condition of real and significant spending cuts. Our current fiscal path is accelerating towards a cliff, and this is one of the last chances we have to apply the brakes before falling off the edge.
The rally will begin at 4:30 p.m. Tea Party supporters will deliver personal letters to Boehner's office, encouraging him to stand strong in negotiations with Obama and the Senate.
Supporters from various Cincinnati and Dayton area tea party groups are expected to be present.
