Mayor Mark Mallory discusses plans for 2011 Macy's Music Festival

 On Thursday, Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory will be discussing his plans for the upcoming Macy's Music Festival Weekend.

 The Mayor, The Santangelo Group, Downtown Cincinnati Inc., and Festival 513 will all be in attendance at the press conference scheduled on Thursday, July 29 at 2:00p.m. at the Westin Hotel.

 Five years ago, Mayor Mallory brought together the City administration, civic organizations, restaurants, hotels, and businesses to create Operation Hospitality. The purpose for the initiative is to increases coordination in order to improve the visitor experience in Cincinnati.

 The Macy's Music Festival will be held at Paul Brown Stadium on Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30. The festival will feature a lineup with today's hottest R&B, jazz, hip-hop and soul artists.

    The Federal Aviation Administration's announcement late Wednesday comes nearly a year after the engine's manufacturer recommended the additional inspections, and a month after European regulators ordered their airlines to do the work.
