A severe line of storms pushed through the Tri-State Wednesday morning, prompting several thunderstorm warnings and bringing heavy rain, wind and lightning.

All thunderstorm warnings have been cancelled.

This line of storms knocked out power to about 12,000 Duke Energy customers, mostly in Hamilton County. Power has been restored to all customers.

Lightning also caused a house fire on Fox Run Drive in Fairfield that broke out just after 8 a.m. Fire and smoke were seen through the roof, but there are no reports of injuries. Reading Presbyterian Church in Lockland was also struck by lightning, but no significant damage or injuries were reported.

There are also widespread reports of trees down.
