Man shot in chest dropped off miles from crime scene

SOUTH FAIRMOUNT, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Police continue to investigate a shooting that happened just after 2 p.m. in South Fairmount.

According to police dispatch, the victim was shot in the 2400 block of Blaine Road and taken from the scene in a red truck driven by an unidentified person.

Police found the victim near Hopple and Central Parkway. Life squad was called and the victim was taken to UC Medical Center.

Police then located the red truck on Blaine Road and found blood inside the truck.

Police are on the scene investigating the shooting. There is no word if there are any suspects or the victim's identity.
