Meth lab found behind a business Blue Ash

BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) - Police find a meth lab behind a business on Wednesday afternoon.

A short time after 3:00pm, Blue Ash Police units were called to a business at the 11000 block of Deerfield Road just south of Cornell Road for a report of a methamphetamine lab in a semi-secluded area behind the business.

An employee of the business reported finding a backpack with components of a meth lab lying by an outbuilding.

Officials say the owner of the business is cooperating with police and sent employees home early.

A certified meth lab specialist from the Green Hills Police Department was called to the scene to search the backpack. Investigators discovered precursors used in the manufacture of Methamphetamine and suspected meth. Police are still trying to determine the amount of the suspected product.

No arrests have been made at this time. Blue Ash Police will continue to investigate the incident.
