MASON, OH (FOX19) - The annual Summer Wiffle Ball Classic was held on Saturday at Mason Sports Park to raise money for the Reds Community Funds.
Eighty different teams participated in the fifth annual event, which had divisions for both adult and youth teams.
Teams were required to raise a minimum of $250 for the Reds Community Fund.
Organizers say the Wiffle Classic brings people in from across the region and country to Mason.
The Reds Community Fund creates programs to connect at-risk children with baseball in Cincinnati. According to their web site, more than 30,000 kids and coaches benefited from the Reds Community Fund last year.
