A Colerain Township man accused of beating his one-month-old infant niece to death has been found incompetent to stand trial.
A Hamilton County Judge found Lanny Stoinoff, 24, incompetent at a hearing held Tuesday. Stoinoff is accused of violently beating one-month-old Roslyn Stoinoff after asking to hold her. Roslyn's mother and grandmother tried to stop him, but were unable to.
Stoinoff is charged with one count of aggravated murder and one count of murder. At the hearing, it was revealed that Stoinoff was violent while in prison.
Stoinoff was sent for treatment at the Twin Valley Regional Psychiatric Center in Columbus. He is expected to be back in court in Cincinnati February 2nd, 2012.
