CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Police have identified the victims of a crash early Thursday morning on Interstate 75.
Just after midnight, police responded to the 3.6 mile marker on northbound I-75 near the Hopple Street exit.
Police say Nicholas Taylor, 38, was operating a Jeep Cherokee when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a Dodge Ram pickup truck.
The truck was operated by Glen Delk, 46. Delk was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the truck, Kathy Delk, 32, was also not wearing a seatbelt. She was taken to University Hospital, where she was treated and released.
Taylor suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Police say alcohol and speed appear to be factors in the crash. Any witness are asked to call the Cincinnati Police Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
Interstate 75 was shut down for about six hours.
