COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - Northern Kentucky Harvest hosted its 11th Annual Backpacks and Breakfast Saturday morning.
The event at Goebel Park was open to students from low-income families in kindergarten through 12th grade. Organizers say they provided backpacks stuffed with school supplies to 900 children in Kenton, Campbell and Boone Counties.
Backpacks were given out on the first come, first-served basis. Families also got to enjoy breakfast from Frisch's and Trauth Dairy.
