Metro route changes take effect

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Metro's fall service changes have now taken effect.

Earlier this year, Metro announced a new express route will link Cincinnati's Westside to Uptown, including the University of Cincinnati, several hospitals and Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden.  The new route finally started on Sunday.

Metro is also teaming up with the Butler County Regional Transit Authority to extend the Fairfield-Tri-County express route to serve more Fairfield locations. This change includes a new park and ride location at Fairfield Crossing at Route 4 and Symmes Road.

Route 1, Route 19 and Route 67 are also seeing changes.

You can visit Metro's website for more information on the new routes and adjustments.
