Bengals Release DT Tank Johnson

The Bengals today made the following roster moves:

Terminated the contract of eighth-year defensive tackle Tank Johnson, releasing him to free agency. Johnson joined the Bengals in 2009 as an unrestricted free agent from Dallas, and he also played for Cincinnati last season.

In two seasons in Cincinnati, Johnson recorded 29 tackles and two sacks.

Bengals also waived TE Garrett Mills, a sixth-year player from Tulsa. Mills was on the Bengals roster for the last two games of 2010, acquired on waivers from Philadelphia, but did not play.
