Two hospitalized after high speed accident in Fairfield Twp.

FAIRFIELD TWP, OH (FOX19) -

A single car high speed accident in the east bound lane of Ohio State Route 129 sent two people to local hospitals Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened just before 2 p.m. on the east bound lane of Ohio 129, just east of Bypass 4. The driver of a Honda sedan lost control for unknown reasons and slammed into a light pole.

One occupant was transported by Fairfield Township Paramedics to a local hospital, another occupant was flown by AirCare Helicopter to University Hospital. There is no word on their conditions.

Fairfield Township Police continue to investigate the accident.
