I-75 drivers warned of potential deer hazard

Cincinnati Police want to make drivers aware of a safety hazard on Interstate 75 between mileposts 4 and 6 due to road work.

Construction crews widening I-75 between Ludlow and Mitchell are clearing brush and tearing down fences on the northbound side. Because of the removal of natural and man-made barriers, it has been observed that deer are coming dangerously close to the right-of-way, especially where the hillside is relatively low.

Police plan to contact the Ohio Department of Transportation construction offices about the potential deer hazards, but in the meantime they're asking you to drive with caution.
