Alcohol and speed play factors in motorcycle crash

HARLAN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a serious injury crash involving a single motorcycle on State Route 28 in Warren County.

The crash happened just west of Blanchester around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. Police say Scotty McIntosh, 31, of Milford, was traveling eastbound on State Route 28 when he lost control in a curve, went off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail.

McIntosh was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered serious head injuries as a result.

McIntosh was not wearing a helmet. Alcohol and speed are also suspected to be factors in the crash.
