4 Dayton men arrested after Middletown robbery

MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) -

Just before 2 a.m. Monday morning, the Gas America in the 3500 block of Roosevelt Blvd.  was robbed by two black males, both with weapons.

According to the Middletown Police Department, the two men robbed the two clerks and fled on foot. A description of the men was given to the responding officers. An officer located a vehicle on Lewis Street, occupied by four black males, one of which matched the description of one of the robbers.

The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle did not stop and a pursuit ensued. The vehicle eventually stopped on State Route 25 near Greentree Road, and the driver fled on foot.

The three others in the car were detained at that point while inside the car. A K-9 search found the driver of the vehicle.

Demetrius Hicks, 19, of Dayton and Delaquan Maston, 21, of Dayton, were both arrested for Aggravated Robbery.

DeAngelo Bush, 21 and Angelo Jones, 20, both of Dayton were charged with Complicity to Aggravated Robbery. Jones was the driver who fled the vehicle.

Two weapons and an undetermined amount of cash were recovered by police.

Anyone with more information about this robbery should contact Detective Rich Bush of the Middletown Police Department at 513-425-7720, or the Middletown Police Dispatch at 513-425-7700.
