The Official TWILIGHT SAGA Fan Convention Tour comes to Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Creation Entertainment arrives with The Official TWILIGHT SAGA Fan Convention Tour Saturday and Sunday, August 27 and 28. This special weekend will take place at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati, 151 W. Fifth Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Plenty of Parking is available.

The Official TWILIGHT SAGA Fan Convention will offer attendees the unique opportunity to involve themselves in all aspects of TWILIGHT. This weekend gathering will feature on-stage appearances by TWILIGHT celebrities, exclusive footage screenings, panel discussions, TWILIGHT themed parties, musical performances, costume and trivia competitions, auctions, autographing, photo opportunities, TWILIGHT merchandise and more.

Special on-stage appearances by TWILIGHT stars will include: Peter Facinelli (Dr. Carlisie Cullen, Sunday), Tinsel Korey (Emily, Saturday and Sunday), Charlie Bewley (Demetri of The Volturi, Saturdayt and Sunday), Kiowa Gordon (Embry Call of the Wolf Pack, Saturday and Sunday) and Boo Boo Stewart (Seth Clearwater, Saturday and Sunday).

Hosting this weekend's show will be Hannah and Hilly Hindi and guests from the The Hillywood Show, a YouTube hit who are known for their hilarious spoofs from various movies. They will also be performing skits, posing for photos and adding to the weekend of fun! Major online TWILIGHT fan websites www.twilightlexicon.com and www.twilightmoms.com will be participating with special presentations on stage.

The fun will be kicked up a notch with evening function on Saturday Night, the Volturi Vampire Ball, where attendee can dress in their finest vampire attire and dance the night away. Also on Sunday Morning there will be a Celebrity Continental Breakfast and Silent Charity Auction. A separate ticket is required for these events.

General admission tickets are available in advance through www.twilightconvention.com and at the door for $20. Show hours are Saturday, NOON - 6:00 PM and Sunday, 10:00 - 5:30 PM. General Admission tickets to the Saturday Night Vampire Ball tickets are $79 and limited Sunday Continental Breakfast and Charity Auction tickets are $89.

Cincinnati is the on of the stops for the 14-city Official TWILIGHT Saga Fan Convention Tour that is being done in conjunction with Summit Entertainment. More information can be found at www.twilightconvention.com.

About the TWILIGHT film series

The TWILIGHT film series stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson and tells the story of 17-year-old Bella Swan who moves to the small town of Forks, Washington to live with her father, and becomes drawn to Edward Cullen, a pale, mysterious classmate who seems determined to push her away.

But neither can deny the attraction that pulls them together even when Edward confides that he and his family are vampires.

The action-packed, modern day vampire love story and blockbuster success TWILIGHT was released in theatres on November 21, 2008. The second installment of the film franchise, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON directed by Chris Weitz and starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, released November 20, 2009 with the third film, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE directed by David Slade, being released on June 30, 2010; and the fourth film, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN - Part 1, is scheduled to be released on November 18, 2011.
