EIAC: Scheib Paints Town

It was a great start to his senior season for Franklin County running back Jacob Scheib. He ran for 255 yards on 23 carries in a 34-12 handling of Indianapolis Northwest. Scheib and the boys from Brookville posted the first win for the school in a home opener since 2005.

The play in front of him did not go unnoticed as Wildcats head coach Mark Williamson and his staff selected Alex Smith as the teams Lineman of the Game. Smith and company opened up holes that led to Franklin County rushing for 447 yards in the contest. The Wildcats were paced on defense by Ben Wewe who was in on 12 total tackles.
