GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A man is arrested at the hospital following the stabbing of a cab driver in Green Township.
Deputies were called to the 3100 block of Mary Jane Drive around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday. They say Nicholas Carter, 29, called for a driver from Ron's Cab, but became verbally abusive when the cab driver arrived. Deputies say Carter stabbed the driver several times after he asked the suspect to exit the cab.
The driver was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital and was later transferred to University Hospital for surgery. He's now listed in stable condition.
Deputies found the Carter at Mercy Hospital in Western Hills being treated for minor cuts. He's now charged with felonious assault.
The incident remains under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department.
