Bengals Trade for Kelly Jennings

The Bengals today acquired CB Kelly Jennings in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle acquired Bengals DT Clinton McDonald.

Jennings (5-11, 180; Miami-Fla.) is a sixth-year NFL player. He was a first-round Seattle draft choice in 2006 (31st overall) and through 2010 had 78 games played with 44 starts for the Seahawks. He played and started 14 games last season for a Seahawks club that won the NFC West Division and upset New Orleans in a  Wild Card playoff game. He had 40 tackles, 13 passes defensed and one INT during the regular season.

He has 208 career tackles, 48 passes defensed, two INTs, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.

McDonald is classified a second-year NFL player. He was on the Bengals practice squad in 2009 and played in eight games for Cincinnati last season.
