Private busing service resumes Wednesday in Lakota

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Private busing services resume Wednesday for the Lakota School District.

Lakota grad and former NFL player Troy Evans started Lakota Busing Service (LBS) as a response to busing cuts by the district.

However, the busing was temporarily suspended after the first day of school for service LBS called "less than adequate."

The first day of school was called a "nightmare" by some parents because of heavy traffic due to the new bus service and an increase in students driving their own cars.

The suspension did not affect students in private schools.
