*VOTE NOW*

BEECHWOOD TIGERS (1-0)
The Class 1A Tigers kicked off their 2011 campaign with a dominating 28-0 win over Class 6A Simon Kenton in Skyline Crosstown Showdown. Beechwood dominated on both sides of the ball and won the game up front, where they had a distinct advantage.

BOONE COUNTY REBELS (2-0)
With a 19-7 win over county rival Conner, the Rebels move to 2-0 to start the 2011 campaign. That is quite a turnaround from last year when the team finished with just a 3-7 mark. Boone County has followed a familiar formula to this point of the season, run the football well and play good defense.

COVCATH COLONELS (2-0)
Covington Catholic continued their fast start to the season by winning a shootout against their rivals, Dixie Heights. The Colonels' offense is clicking on all cylinders to this point of the season as they are averaging 49 points game following their 56-35 Week 1 win.

HOLY CROSS INDIANS (2-0)
The Indians made it two straight wins to start the year by knocking off the Cooper Jaguars by a 19-10 margin. It marks the first time in head coach Bruce Kozerski's tenure at the school that Holy Cross has started the year 2-0.

NEWCATH THOROUGHBREDS (2-0)
Eddie Eviston's bunch looks very much like defending state champions through two games. The Thoroughbreds shrugged off some early jitters in their Crosstown Showdown matchup with McNicholas at Nippert Stadium and pulled away with an impressive 23-13 win.
