Knights to invade Fountain Square

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A pack of noble knights are set to invade Fountain Square to help round up some lords and ladies to attend the upcoming Ohio Renaissance Festival.

According to a press release from the festival, the event will take place on Fountain Square on Friday, September 2nd from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Organizers promise that people on the square can also bow down low before the Good Queen Bess in her full regalia. The part of the Queen is being played by Connie Pfeiffer of Lebanon.

Two knights will be there in full shining armor with their 18-hands tall steeds in full dress, along with Robin Hood and Maid Marian who will wonder among the crowd sharing their epic tales of adventure. Other villagers will also attend from Willy Nilly to mill about.

The Ohio Renaissance Festival runs from September 3rd through October 16th. Click on the link to their web site for days, directions and ticket prices: www.renfestival.com
