Police arrest man who could be responsible for several burglaries

BATAVIA, OH (FOX19) - Union Township Police have arrested a suspect they believe is responsible for several burglaries in the area.

Police responded to a burglary in progress on Wednesday morning in the Legend Hills Subdivision. A female homeowner told police she was awoken by an intruder who then fled the home on foot after being confronted.

Union Township Police set up a perimeter and located the suspect in the 3900 block of Hopper Hill Road. He was taken into custody without incident.

The suspect was identified as Joshua Tribble, 23, of Bethel. Upon further investigation, police believe Tribble is responsible for three home burglaries in Union Township and another in Batavia Township.

Tribble is currently being held at the Clermont County Jail on a felony burglary charge. Additional charges are pending.
