Storm leaves behind damage and knocks out power

AURORA, IN (FOX19) - Storm damage was reported between Aurora and Moores Hill early Sunday morning.

We found a shed and branches on the ground on Highway 350 in Mount Sinai.

More than 3,000 Duke Energy customers were without power around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

According to Duke Energy's website, crews restore power for most customer outages in three hours or less. However, following a storm, or when large spread damage has occurred, outage restorations will take longer.

Customers are encouraged to call 1-800-343-3525 to report outages and get an estimated time of restoration.
