Firefighter charged after SWAT standoff

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A Deerfield Township firefighter is facing charges after a SWAT situation over the weekend.

Nicholas Bomske, 27, of Fairfax, is charged with burglary, inducing panic and obstructing official business.

According to court documents, Bomske burglarized a home on N. Berkley Avenue in Bond Hill on Saturday.

He then refused to leave the home, so SWAT was called. North Berkley Circle was shut down during the standoff.

Bomske was eventually taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
