One would think that having a bottle opener on your keychain was enough, but lately we've seen bottle openers designed into all kinds of products, including jackets and now sunglasses. Brewsees Eyewear ($40) was created with the idea that the times when you need sunglasses and the times when you need a bottle opener are often one and the same. At first, we were a bit concerned with the idea simply because none of the sunglasses we own would be strong enough to withstand the stress of popping open a beer bottle. But Brewsees has everything covered. Each pair of shades is made from 6061 airplane-grade anodized aluminum (tough stuff) and a polycarbonate frame to ensure that your sunglasses will stay in prime condition no matter how many beers you drink.
Best of all, the bottle-opening design is sporty and not as obvious as one would think. The arms of the frames have a bottle opener at the end that tucks behind your ear, meaning it won't get noticed until someone needs a hand. Each pair of Brewsees has 100% UV Protections and even comes with Polarized lenses, which is a coup for the price tag. A signature koozie with the clever mantra "Real Men Pry" completes the package. Our only hope is that this clever brand will expand to include more designs. Maybe a wayfarer and an aviator will be next?
