A fundraiser is being held Thursday for local victims of the stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair.

Meagan Toothman, a cheerleading coach at Turpin High School, died several days after the incident from injuries she suffered in the collapse. Shannon and Jade Walcott, of Edgewood, are both in Indianapolis hospitals recovering from their injuries.

Bunches of Bows, a gift shop in Fort Wright, is holding the fundraiser to support both families. Twenty percent of all sales from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. will be donated to the families.

The owner of Bunches of Bows, Traci Punch-Alexander, said that several of her customers were connected with the families, which is why she wanted to help.

Bunches of Bows offers everything from bows to wine items, collegiate items and ballet gear. All merchandise can be monogrammed or personalized.
