A Hamilton woman was sentenced Thursday by a Warren County judge for committing a series of burglaries in Turtlecreek and Clearcreek Townships.
Courtney Ralston, 22, pled guilty in August to seven counts of burglary. According to prosecutors, Ralston and a partner broke into seven homes in February and March and stole various items, including firearms, televisions and a large amount of jewelry.
Prosecutors say the burglaries were done to support a drug habit.
Ralston was sentenced to five years in prison for three of the robberies, and two years of prison for the four other burglaries. Ralston will also serve an additional year for a gun specification count, which she also pled guilty to in August, for a total of 8 years in prison.
Ralston's partner, Jessica Coffey, pled guilty in June and is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence.
