FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) - A country concert at Champion Window Field in Florence will benefit a mother and daughter who were injured in a stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair.
The "Country for a Cause" concert is from 6 to 10 p.m. at the home of the Florence Freedom.
Shannon and Jade Walcott, of Edgewood, remain in Indianapolis hospitals after they were hurt in the Aug. 13 incident. The fundraiser will help offset their out of pocket medical expenses.
Admission to the concert is $10 for general seating and $20 for floor seating. Special guests include up and coming country stars such as Cef Michael, Coy Taylor, Rachel Lynn and Josh of Mostly Gentleman, Jason Owens, Sami Riggs, Roger Simms, Jude Bailey and Stephanie Corbin.
Jade, 10, has been moved out of ICU and into a different hospital, where she can begin rehab. Shannon continues to struggle with burns and broken bones.
In addition, River Ridge Elementary is hosting a spaghetti dinner to benefit Jade Walcott on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
