Some rehabbed housing units in Over-The-Rhine have been unveiled.
A 25 unit building off of Race Street was renovated by the Cornerstone Corporation for shared equity. The Cornerstone Corporation is a non-profit organization that provides and develops housing for the working poor.
Organizers say this is not a hand out.
"Everyone has a job to do in the community," said Kevin Hughes, Cornerstone Corporation, "So it may be maintenance work, you might be landscaping, might be taking out the garbage, keeping the community room floor clean, but everybody has a job to do every week."
Residents are also required to pay their rent on time and to attend a monthly community meeting.
The apartments range from one bedroom to four bedroom apartments.
