Bengals game will not be televised

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Bengals' Sept. 25 home game at 1 p.m. vs. San Francisco will not be televised locally.

The ticket office has confirmed that too many tickets remain available for the game to sell out. In accordance with NFL policy, the game will not be televised in the Bengals home market cities of Cincinnati, Dayton and Lexington, Ky.

Despite their run of futility, the Bengals sold out a club-record 57 consecutive home games from Nov. 16, 2003 through last Nov. 8. This is the fifth straight home game that the Bengals have failed to sell out. They sold only 39,797 tickets for their final preseason game against the Colts.

Tickets can still be obtained by calling the Bengals Ticket Hotline at 513-621-8383 or toll free at 1-866-621-8383, or by going to bengals.com.

Sundays 4:15 p.m. game at Denver will still be televised locally.
