Robber pulls gun on clerk, gets away in police chase

TRENTON, OH (FOX19) -

Trenton Police are hoping to find a suspect caught on video pulling a gun in a store parking lot and aiming it at a clerk. 

At 8:32 Sunday morning, the City of Trenton Dispatch Center received a call from a man who works at Metro Express located at 701 East State Street in Trenton.  The caller said he had just been the victim of an armed robbery. The suspect took several items from the store and exited without paying. 

The employee attempted to stop the suspect when a hand gun was displayed. The suspect is a white male approximately 30 years of age. 

The suspect fled the scene in a mid 90's red Ford ranger with Tennessee license plates (459YHC).  Trenton Dispatch Center sent out an all county broadcast when Middletown Police located the vehicle and a pursuit began. 

The vehicle continued in to Franklin and then to West Carrollton where Franklin and West Carrollton officers terminated the pursuit. 

Store surveillance camera captured the events on tape and will be released soon.
