The cost of gasoline is down 15 cents a gallon from last week at Ohio pumps.
Monday's survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express has regular-grade gasoline averaging $3.49 a gallon statewide, compared to $3.64 a week ago.
Gas remains more expensive that it was last year at this time, when regular was averaging $2.75 in Ohio.
But the state's current average is 16 percent below the all-time high of $4.16 a gallon reached in early May. Prices for crude oil have been falling amid concerns about the global economy and energy demand.
