CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The case involving a driver accused of causing a crash that injured a Cincinnati Police sergeant has been delayed.

Raymond Weathers, 35, was scheduled to have a bond hearing Monday morning in Hamilton County.

Weathers is facing two counts of aggravated vehicular assault for a crash on Columbia Parkway that seriously injured Sgt. Ronald Schaeper.

However, before Monday's hearing, Judge Melba Marsh dismissed herself from the case, saying she lives near Columbia Parkway and feels she could have an unbiased opinion because she sees the traffic issues on the road firsthand.

The hearing will be postponed until a new judge is appointed.
