HAMILTON COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - Voting precincts have been consolidated in Hamilton County to eliminate the need for multiple polling places and to make elections more efficient.
All registered voters in Hamilton County will be receiving a card shortly indicating what ward and precinct they live in and where to vote on Election Day, November 8, 2011.
The deadline to register to vote or for a registered voter to change their address is 9 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Anyone needing information about voter registration or where they can vote can call 513-632-7000.
Each election a voter must submit an absentee voter application form with the Board if they want to vote by mail. Forms are available at www.votehamiltoncounty.org or by calling 513-632-7039. Applications to vote absentee/by mail can be submitted up until the Saturday before the election, but a voter must have time to send in the request, receive the ballot in the mail and return the ballot by Monday before the election.
This November, voters will be electing all local officials; mayors, council members, trustees, municipal court judges, and school board members.
In addition, there are several state issues as well as numerous local issues. Candidates, ballot language and other important information are available at www.votehamiltoncounty.org.
