A Brown County grand jury has indicted two people for housing a large pot-growing operation in their Fayetteville home.

Police say they raided a house on the 4600 block of Murray Corner Road after obtaining a warrant on September 15th. When they entered the house, deputies found a large indoor marijuana grow operation and seized over 50 pounds of marijuana. Police arrested Gerald Holmes, 36, at the scene.

He was released on a $50,000 bond September 19th.

Melissa Holmes, 42, was arrested Tuesday after the indictment came down. She was released on a $50,000 bond.

Both were charged with Cultivation of Marijuana and Illegal Assembly of Chemicals to Manufacture.
