LAWRENCEBURG, IN (FOX19) - Two men are behind bars in southeast Indiana after a drug investigation that lasted for several months.
Marko Williams, 30, and Daryl Hassan Murph, 21, both of Cincinnati, are charged with dealing in a narcotic drug and conspiracy to commit dealing in a narcotic drug, both Class A felonies. In Indiana, a Class A felony carries a sentenced of 20 to 50 years.
The pair was apprehended on Interstate 275 attempting to leave Indiana after police say they delivered a significant amount of heroin in Lawrenceburg.
The investigation determined that heroin being delivered to Dearborn and Ohio counties was from a source in Cincinnati. The investigation continued and after making several controlled purchases of heroin, Williams and Murph were arrested on Sept. 29.
The pair is scheduled to be in court on Oct. 3.
