Police release surveillance video of robbery at Rookwood store

Police have released surveillance video of a robbery at the Charming Charlie store in Rookwood Commons.

The robbery occurred on Sept. 29 by two black males in their late teens to early 20's.

The suspects forced employees to the back room and stole an undetermined amount of money from the safe.  No weapon was seen but implied.

The suspects fled the scene from the rear of the store, climbing a hill to the railroad tracks east of the shopping area. A K9 unit was unable to locate them.

The first suspect is described as 6'2" and 160 pounds, thin build, with his hair in cornrows and wearing a solid green hooded sweatshirt. The 2nd suspect is 6-fee with a thicker build wearing a white and black striped hooded sweatshirt.

A stolen 1988 gray Chevy custom van was located in the parking lot in front of the store.  The listed van was stolen from Thomasville Ct., in the Aspen Woods Complex, in Cincinnati.
