CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Three local artists worked overnight to create a mural memorializing Steve Jobs.
The founder of Apple died on Wednesday after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
The artists are members of "Higher Level Art," a mural company.
The impromptu mural is located at the corner of Ravine and Central Parkway and reads, "Good Apples Better the Bunch," accompanied by a 15 foot portrait of a young Jobs.
Artist Matthew Dayler, one of the owners of Higher Level Art, said they heard of Jobs' death on Wednesday night and immediately planned to paint a mural.
"We like to do things that are spur of the moment on top of things editorial-wise...We all grew up using Macintosh and Apple computers so we felt, what more of a fitting tribute than to come out and paint for Steve Jobs today," Dayler said.
The artists started painting over an existing mural at about 11:30 p.m. and completed the piece at about 5:30 a.m.
