COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - A Kenton County man has pleaded guilty to his involvement in two murders.

Marion Lawson Parker (a.k.a. Timmy Parker) was charged with murder, robbery, unlawful imprisonment and tampering with physical evidence for the death of Shawn Davis in 2009.

Davis was beaten, strangled and set on fire during a robbery gone bad. His body was found in Cold Spring in 2009.

Parker also killed his cellmate at the Kenton County Detention Center, Isaac Jackson, later that year.

Jackson, 40, was strangled to death while he slept.

According to Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney Rob Sanders, Parker pleaded guilty to both murders on Friday and was sentenced to life in prison.
