LAUREL, IN (FOX19) - David E. Ison has been formally charged with five counts of murder in the deaths occurring on September 25th in rural Indiana.
Detectives say they received information after conducting a search at the home Ison was staying that linked him to the five victims. They were able to formally charge Ison based upon results they gained from the arrest, search warrants and further investigations.
Ison, 46, is charged with killing Angela A. Napier, Jacob L. Napier, Roy D. Napier, Melissa L. Napier and Henry X. Smith.
Ison is in the Ripley County Jail on Attempted Armed Robbery Charges. He was arrested on September 28th after allegedly robbing Trilpett's Drug Store in Osgood, Indiana.
