HEBRON, KY (FOX19) - Dozens of veterans departed from the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport on Tuesday morning to take part in the Honor Flight program.
The program, which occurs a few times each year, gives veterans the opportunity to see the war memorials in the nation's capital for free.
About 70 veterans made the trip this time around. They will return on Tuesday evening.
The trip is made possible by the Simply Money Foundation, spearheaded by FOX19's own Nathan Bachrach.
