Kroger to donate turkeys to the Freestore Food Bank

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Kroger is donating 150 Honeysuckle White turkeys to the Freestore Food Bank for hungry families in the Cincinnati community. This is one of 24 communities across the U.S. to which Cargill is donating turkeys this holiday season.

"As part of Cargill's focus on nourishing those in our communities, we're excited to once again partner with Kroger to help feed families through the Freestore Food Bank this holiday season," said Steve Willardsen, president of Cargill's turkey business. "Helping those in the communities in which we live and work makes for stronger communities overall."

Along with Cargill's donation to Kroger the Honeysuckle White turkey brand is spreading awareness of the fight against hunger through its holiday campaign Feed Your Family. Help Feed Another. The campaign lives in grocery stores across the country and on the Honeysuckle White turkey website.
