CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Students from the University of Cincinnati's Criminal Justice program are partnering with Cincinnati Police to prevent theft from autos.
Thirty students will share crime prevention tips with their classmates and neighbors.
Several vehicles parked on streets and in lots around the university district are often targeted for this crime of opportunity. Crime analysis has shown "hot spots" in areas of Clifton Avenue, Ravine Street, Calhoun Street, and Emming Street.
The student volunteers will place "Report Cards" containing crime prevention information on windshields of vehicles parked in the area bounded by these streets.
