Hundreds walk to remember lost loved ones

More than 900 people came together to raise awareness for suicide prevention Sunday.  The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, a not-for-profit organization, walked for the eighth year in a row on University of Cincinnati's campus.

The 3.1 mile walk began with a balloon launch.  The balloons were filled with well wishes, prayers and notes to lost loved ones.

The walk ended at a memorial garden where participants took a moment to remember why they were there.

According to the AFSP, 1100 college students die by suicide each year and it's the second leading cause of death among college students.
