DAYTON, OH (FOX19) - A teenage girl was arrested after a police chase that spanned two states.
At around 5:00 a.m., Ohio State Patrol was told by Indiana State Police that a stolen white Ford truck was about to cross into Ohio on Interstate 70.
Police made several attempts to deploy stop sticks and eventually were able to deflate three of the vehicles tires. The 16-year-old girl driving the vehicle continued eastbound on I-70 and then headed southbound on Interstate 75. Police deployed stop sticks again and were able to deflate the remaining tire just south of Austin Boulevard on Interstate 75. A short time later the juvenile's vehicle stopped.
The girl was taken to the Atrium Medical Center for care. She was later transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center.
The case remains under investigation. The girl did not have a driver's licence.
