HEBRON, KY (FOX19) - A jet made an emergency landing at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) Tuesday morning after smoke was reported in the cockpit.
The jet landed safely around 9 a.m.
There were no injuries reported and Delta is working on putting passengers on other flights.
Delta officials have not said where the plane originated from or where it was going, but flight tracking programs indicate it was an MD-88, Delta flight 894, headed from Flint, Michigan to Atlanta. The plane left Flint at 8:01 a.m. and landed here at 8:54 a.m. It is not known how many people were on the plane. There is no word on where the smoke was coming from.
The plane was taken to be looked at by mechanics.
